Happy Lunar New Year 2024
Public Art Display
Discover the captivating Koi Pond art installation shadow box display created by our talented young student artists, showcased at the Blossom Market Hall. The koi fish, renowned for symbolizing luck, ambition, and perseverance, holds a rich cultural significance in both Japan and China, representing abundance and prosperity. In this installation, we delve into the traditional Chinese New Year decoration where fish symbolize 'May there be surplus year after year.'
Our students poured their hearts into this project, employing a diverse range of artistic techniques including drawing, painting, inking, folding, cutting, sculpting, and layering to craft a harmonious masterpiece. Whether you're in 1st grade or 12th, beginner or seasoned artist, our workshops offer an inclusive space where everyone learns and collaborates as a team to bring this extraordinary artwork to life. <3
